I don't know too much about the Weimar Republic and the rise of Naziism, but I do know fascism required then and requires now a fanatical, populist base of support. Virulently nationalistic, paranoid, bullying and violent. Enter the Teabaggers. This really is setting the stage for Fascism. Take it away, Noam:
